VC Confidence Slips in Q2

Venture capitalists expressed a slight decline in confidence during the second quarter of 2015. The Silicon Valley Venture Capitalist Confidence Index is measured quarterly by Dr. Mark Cannice at the University of San Francisco. The Index reflected a slight decline which investors attributed to the arrival of new investors, external conditions such as China's currency, and rising costs of doing business.

As covered by the Wall Street Journal, the Index slipped for the second quarter in a row and reached its lowest point in two years.
