About the CTC Girls in STEM Challenge

CTC members are committed to supporting charities and education organizations who engage girls in STEM education and early career pathways. CTC invites qualifying organizations to submit entries as outlined below to compete for resources, technology contributions, mentoring, and scholarships for membership in CTC provided by Keypoint Credit Union, including access to all member benefits and savings programs.

How To Enter

This challenge invites organizations to enter by submitting video dialogues on any one of several themes.

To keep the entry process streamlined, please submit an email expression of interest to STEM@californiatechnology.org. You will receive a response providing instructions including confirmation of a file transfer protocol for your video submissions.

Entries may include one (1) to five (5) “episodes” of up to three (3) minutes each, as a monologue, interview, documentary, or presentation on any of the topics outlined below.

Topics

A panel of judges comprised of CTC members and partners will evaluate all entries throughout 2022. Entrants may wish to develop their entry on one of the following themes:

  • Career pathways

  • Mentors

  • College options

  • Extracurricular opportunities for students

  • Internships and apprenticeships

  • Non-traditional education
