NEW PODCAST: Latest in AI Series Features Berkeley Professor

CTC presents a new episode in our Artificial Intelligence Series with Foley and Lardner. On this episode of CTC's AI Series with Foley and Lardner, we discuss the maturation of Big Data and machine learning with Dr. Bin Yu of UC Berkeley.

Dr. Yu points out that we are still in the very early days for these tools. Practitioners remain vigilant in an environment of supervised learning.

Research in fields such as coronavirus shows us how much we are still in the beginning (this is also a teaser to part two). As it turns out, predicting cancer and other levels of AI-powered synthesis in specialized fields such as healthcare has proven far more difficult.

Data quality remains a major challenge facing everyone in the industry. Standards remain a pain point, and the applications of machine learning are only as useful as the quality of the data.

The vision, as Dr. Yu lays out, continues to be one of human-machine collaboration in the future.
