Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats recently labeled cybersecurity his “greatest concern,” ahead of weapons of mass destruction and terrorism. The cybersecurity skills shortage has been a long-standing problem for industry. Based on current trends, the International Information System Security Certification Consortium estimates that there will be a global shortage of 1.8 million workers by 2022.
