The California Technology Council participated this week in the annual summer conference of the Technology Councils of North America. This year, the annual conference was held in Des Moines, Iowa.

The conference was hosted by the Technology Association of Iowa. “TAI was proud to showcase the state of Iowa as a technology leader to our peers across the US, Canada and Mexico,” said Brian Waller, President of the Technology Association of Iowa (TAI). “From innovative payment processing to autonomous farm equipment, we were excited to share the incredible technology being developed right here in our state and deployed across the country.”

TECNA constituents discussed everything from measurement of the innovation economy to workforce initiatives to membership best practices. A new slate of board officers was elected to serve TECNA. CTC's Matt Gardner was elected Treasurer.
