CTC Board Meets Virtually To Invite Nominees

The CTC Board held its quarterly meeting virtually today to, among other things, open a new round of board nominations for 2021.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, CTC leaders have continued to engage through the organization to seek expanded ways to serve our membership community. Like most tech councils and similar organizations serving innovation clusters, our programming has continued through a combination of webinars and virtual meetings.

Now, as our board looks ahead at 2021, a round of board nominations is open. CTC board members have two primary expectations:

1) Each board member should be able to attend at least half of the four quarterly board meetings in a year.

2) Each board member should represent a member in good standing in the organization.

Beyond those two basic expectations, each board member engages with the organization differently, opting into and out of various initiatives based on their own interests and goals. The amount of time a board member spends with the organization in a given year depends on their interests and engagement in our initiatives.
