The CTC’s Clean Acres initiative met Wednesday, April 8th at the FLEXLAB at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
Clean Acres participants used the meeting to discuss the CTC's upcoming First Pitch event in October, and explored a range of potential Clean Acres Tours, particularly of net-zero projects.
Following the meeting, attendees took the opportunity to tour LBNL's FLEXLAB and saw the experimental facilities geared for research on design and space optimization.
FLEXLAB has capacity for testing of design concepts for new builds as well as retrofits. The facilities are designed with the potential to perform side-by-side comparisons of every facility detail from furniture installations to directional orientation.
